“Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgementally” Jon Kabat-Zinn

As a practicing Mindfulness Now teacher, Sarah guides clients through programmes of simple to follow techniques, both formal and informal, designed to build self-care habits that can be easily applied in the workplace and their daily lives. Her focus is on sharing straightforward tools and techniques from the unique Mindfulness Now programme, which incorporates a fusion of key elements from MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy).

As well as teaching Mindfulness meditation for relaxation, sessions are offered for aspects of mindful living such as stress reduction, anxiety, mindful movement, mindful eating, developing a home meditation practice and the benefits of journalling. Sarah offers open-ended support after your training programme finishes and all sessions can be tailored to suit your needs.

There is published scientific evidence that living more mindfully can assist with stress reduction, focus, greater resilience, enhanced creativity, improved relationships, better communication, greater confidence, improved health and wellbeing, better quality sleep, pain reduction, enhanced intuitive ability and greater work satisfaction. Sarah combines various elements of mindfulness practice in a warm, engaging and informal way, encouraging clients to attend to living ‘in the now’, letting go of the past and releasing anxiety about the future.

Sarah offers one-to-one sessions as well as services to voluntary and corporate sectors, the Department for Education, healthcare and public groups and workshops. For more information, contact Sarah here.
